"Winston Project is a non-profit organization dedicated to ending the suffering of dogs who are abused, abandoned and neglected. We raise funds to support San Diego animal rescue groups and shelters.
After losing my beloved bulldog, Winston in 2019, I wanted to share my story of how I grew through grief and turned loss into a legacy by helping other dogs who are in need. I created and filmed a mini-documentary and premiered it to an audience of 45. In it, I shared the story of love and commitment as Winston aged and we ultimately had to make the difficult decision to relieve him of his pain. In the days and months that followed, the pain of losing him was so intense that I didn't think I would ever stop crying or walking around like I was a zombie. After 3 long, sleepless and tear-filled months, I visited with a dear friend and his senior bulldog. That visit woke something up inside of me and the Winston Project was born.
We know that rescue groups and shelters are spread very thin with all the work they do in the field rescuing and saving dogs from neglect and abuse. They don't have time nor the means to fundraise. That's where Winston Project comes in. Our goal is to raise funds to disperse to local rescue groups through grant requests with the money going directly to helping the dogs in need.
We love dogs and our mission is to make a difference in their lives... one dog at a time."

CEO & Founder, Winston Project
Born out of love and loss, this project is a legacy that transforms grief into action. Inspired by Winston, a beloved bulldog who left too soon, we work to ensure that every dog—no matter their age, background, or condition—has the chance to be seen, supported, and saved.
Whether it’s covering emergency medical care, sponsoring spay/neuter programs, or rallying community support through events, everything we do is for the dogs. One dog at a time, one life at a time.
